Precept Seminar - Health Care Reform Overview and Impact on Benefit Plans for 2011 and Beyond

In March 2010, the U.S. Congress passed historic legislation affecting nearly every American and reshaping approximately one-sixth of the national economy. Under this legislation, beginning in 2014, Americans will be required to purchase health insurance, and will face penalties if they fail or refuse to do so. Employers will be required to offer their workers high-quality health insurance coverage, and those who don't will face fines and penalties.

Additionally, the seminar will include a discussion about how the legislation will affect self-insured and fully insured plans financially, beginning in 2011 and going forward.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • A complete review of the legislation's main requirements and the process that lies ahead before this legislation actually becomes law
  • A practical discussion of what it means to employers
  • A discussion of the financial impact to self-insured and fully insured plans

Choose a seminar location:

Wednesday, April 28, 2010 – Costa Mesa, CA

Thursday, April 29, 2010 – Milpitas, CA

Please note that all sessions are identical. You only need to attend one.
